Volunteer Service Award

 Humanitarian services and the impact of volunteer efforts all over the world are well-known to contribute immensely to nation building especially in leveraging development challenges. Individuals, Families or Organizations all have very important roles to play in meeting the needs of either individual or communities through acts of philanthropy and benevolence. Recognizing and honouring volunteers sets a standard for service to others. It encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation and inspires others to make volunteering a central part of their lives.

VOSA NGO Awards is conferred on Non-governmental Organisations whose focus is in changing lives and communities and have distinguished themselves with outstanding specific volunteer related activity.

VOSA INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (IDO) AWARDS

This award is conferred on International Development Organisations that support the promotion of volunteerism in Nigeria and have identified with and support a unique volunteer programme or project that have impacted lives and communities within the volunteer year

VOSA FOUNDATION AND CHARITY ORGANISATION AWARDS

This award is conferred on outstanding Foundations, Philanthropic and Charity Organisations for their service to humanity

CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

VOSA Corporate Engagement Award of Excellence is conferred on Corporate Organisations who have demonstrated commitment and distinguished themselves in corporate social responsibility (CSR); or encouraging workplace volunteering; to corporate-supported or affiliated foundations that engage volunteers to implement volunteer programmes

VOSA Congressional Award of Excellence is conferred on Congressional Men and Women who have demonstrated uncommon leadership and commitment to fostering and ensuring people oriented legislations that enhances sustainable development

GOOD GOVERNANCE AWARD

VOSA Good Governance Award is conferred on outstanding Executive Governors and High level Public Office holders who have demonstrated effective leadership in influencing people oriented policies, have or are executing programmes and projects that sustainably transform the lives of the people especially as it relates to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
